TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF MUGLER CIRCLE LOYALTY PROGRAMME
Effective as of 13th June 2023
Welcome to the "Mugler Circle" Loyalty Programme (hereinafter the "Programme"), provided by L'Oréal (U.K.) Limited, acting through its Mugler trading division, incorporated under the laws of United Kingdom, having its registered office at 255 Hammersmith Road, London W6 8AZ, (hereinafter “Mugler”, “We,” “Our,” or “Us”).
1. PURPOSE
The Programme allows the persons (hereinafter the "Member(s)", “you” or “your”) who meet the eligibility criteria described hereunder and, who validly register for the Programme on www.mugler.co.uk (hereinafter the “Site”), to benefit from the advantages offered by Mugler under this Programme.
This document aims to define the terms and conditions of the Programme (hereinafter the “Terms and Conditions”). These Terms and Conditions supplement our Website Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
2. ACCEPTANCE AND CHANGE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By joining the Programme, you hereby agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, which may be updated from time to time by Mugler in its sole discretion and you confirm that you meet the eligibility criteria defined below.
Changes to these Terms and Conditions will be communicated on the Site and via e-mail, and your continued participation in the Programme will constitute your acceptance to those changes.
3. MEMBERSHIP – ELIGIBILITY TO THE PROGRAMME
Please be informed that participation to the Programme is voluntary and that enrolment is not mandatory to purchase Mugler products.
The Programme is open to any person over the age of 18 who resides in the United Kingdom and ROI.
Only one membership per person will be accepted. Membership is specific to the individual and related to one email address.
Only Members belonging to the Programme may enjoy the benefits described below. We reserve the right to request a proof of your age and identity. Commercial use (e.g., re-selling received as part of the Programme) of the Programme or use by any other person is strictly prohibited and will be considered an abuse of the Programme, in accordance with paragraph 9.
4. HOW TO JOIN THE PROGRAMME
To join the Programme, you must create a Mugler account by filling in the dedicated form on the Site and tick the check box mentioning the Programme subscription.
To confirm your account creation, you will be required to accept these Terms and Conditions, and complete the mandatory information mentioned hereunder:

Any optional information requested is only used to provide you with specific Programme benefits.
By enrolling into the Programme, you agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about yourself and to maintain and promptly update the information to keep it true, accurate, current, and complete at all times, as Mugler is not responsible for any lost or delayed communications regarding the Programme. You will be solely responsible for any erroneous, incomplete, or obsolete information. You can update your information at any time via your account on Mugler.co.uk. If you provide any information or data which is untrue, inaccurate, or incomplete, or that you are in any way abusing your membership in the Programme, Mugler reserves the right to suspend, terminate or refuse your participation in the Programme.
You can leave the Programme at any time by unsubscribing from your Mugler online account or by sending a request to Mugler via the Consumer Care Form. Mugler will manage your request with due care and within a reasonable timeframe, however, please allow up to 30 days for disenrollment to be actioned.
Upon disenrollment, your reached tiers and earned stars will be forfeited. If you decide to re-enroll on the Programme within 18 months of leaving the Programme, you can retrieve the tiers and stars you had reached, prior to your disenrollment.
5. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROGRAMME
Members of the Programme are called ‘Insiders’ and the Programme aims to reward and thank our Insiders for purchasing our products and/or for their Engagement Actions towards Mugler.
For each purchase of Mugler products, and participation in the Engagement Actions you will accumulate stars which are equivalent to points (listed here below). The stars accumulated during your membership give you access to a specific Tier. Each Tier carries various benefits as set out below.
When you have accumulated enough stars, you can redeem the stars in the Rewards Boutique when you purchase any Mugler product on Mugler.co.uk or from an authorised retailer (i.e., a retailer authorised to distribute Mugler products). You will have access to different rewards depending on your stars balance. You can select your reward in return for your earned stars. When you have selected and redeemed your reward, stars will be deducted from your account. Redeeming stars from the Rewards Boutique does not affect the Tier you have reached. The Rewards Boutique is only available on Mugler.co.uk.
If you do not earn stars or make any purchases under the Programme for a period of 18 months, your membership will be removed, and any points or stars already earned will be lost and you will return to the first Tier upon re-enrollment to the Programme. You will be notified via e-mail before your membership is removed.
1. How do you accumulate stars?
You accumulate stars by making the following actions:
i. Declaring an eligible purchase:
You make a purchase on the Site by being connected to your Mugler account;
You declare, on Mugler.co.uk a product unique code printed inside the purchases products packaging or;
You declare, on Mugler.co.uk the receipt of a refill perfume purchase made at the Fountain from an authorised retailer (i.e., a retailer authorised to distribute Mugler products) within 90 days of the date of purchase. All our authorised retailers can be found here…
Please allow processing time to validate all eligible purchases and have stars awarded to you.
To declare a product unique code, you must 1) log in to your Mugler loyalty account 2) access the dedicated page on the Site by clicking here and 3) enter your unique code (11 characters printed inside the packaging and click on “Submit” button. If the unique code is validated, you will receive a confirmation that it has been accepted.
Coming soon: you will soon be able to scan a serialized QR code found on all Mugler products packaging to declare a product unique code – more details to follow!
To declare a refill receipt from one of our authorised retailers, you must 1) log in to your Mugler loyalty account 2) access the dedicated page on the Site by clicking here 3) upload a clear photo of your refill receipt and click on “Send” button. Following review and approval of your receipt, you will be credited with the corresponding stars within 48hrs from the day you declared the receipt.

If you participate in any of the Engagement Actions listed above, you will be awarded the relevant amount of stars immediately. Each Engagement Action is capped annually and will renew in the following year.
To ensure you are awarded stars for your Engagement Actions, you must be connected and logged into your Mugler account and have accepted cookies/trackers when entering the Site. Failure to do so will result in no stars being awarded to you as we cannot link your Engagement Actions to you or your account.
iii. Bonus
Throughout the year, look out for any bonus campaigns where you can earn up to 150 stars.
2. Tiers and associated rewards
Depending on the number of earned stars you will reach a certain loyalty Tier (the “Tier”). Each Tier will give you access to certain benefits and rewards.

a. CIRCLE MAG ACCESS: as a Member, you have access to exclusive content on the Mugler.co.uk website through the Circle Mag.
b. INSIDER DAYS: by joining the Programme, you will be eligible to exclusive members discounts on the Site of up to 20% off on your online purchases during the Insider Days. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers. Full details will be provided via email at the relevant time.
c. BIRTHDAY SURPRISE: if you have filled in your birth date in your online account profile, you will be eligible for a complimentary 10ml fragrance with any online purchase made during your birthday month. This offer will be shared via an exclusive code on the 1st day of your birthday month and will be valid for the duration of your birthday month. Full details will be provided via email at the relevant time.
d. REFER A FRIEND: you can refer a friend to the Programme. To refer a friend, You must, from the “Refer a Friend” section of the Site, send an invitation with a “referral code” to your friend. By referring a friend, you will earn 40 stars (subject to the ‘capping limit’). Your referred friend will have to create an account and enrol on the Programme by inserting the “referral code” in their account. Provided that your friend creates an account, makes their first purchase of at least £50 on the Site, and declares the unique code, they will receive a unique promotional code with up to 15% off via email. You will also receive a unique promotional code of the same value via email. Each voucher will be valid for 30 days from the date it is sent to you via email.
e. ANNUAL GENEROSITY OFFER: as a Member, you can enjoy additional benefits such as complimentary samples, early access to sales and previews of new product launches. All details relating to these benefits will be communicated to you on Mugler.co.uk or via email, at the relevant times.
f. REWARDS BOUTIQUE: when you have accumulated enough stars, you will be eligible to select a reward from the Rewards Boutique when you purchase any product on Mugler.co.uk from an authorised retailer (i.e. a retailer authorised to distribute Mugler products). The Rewards Boutique gives you access to different rewards depending on your stars balance. When you have selected and redeemed your reward, stars will be deducted from your account. Redeeming stars from the Rewards Boutique does not affect the Tier you have reached. If your stars expire due to membership inactivity (i.e., no stars earned or redeemed) for longer than 18 months, you will return to the first tier with 0 points. The Rewards Boutique is only accessible on Mugler.co.uk and you must be logged in to your account to view and access the Rewards Boutique.
g. VIP EXPERIENCE: by reaching the Iconic Tier, you will join the most privileged insiders to experience luxurious, exclusive Mugler events both in the UK and internationally. Full details will be provided via email at the relevant time.
Stars balance and Tiers
You will find all information relating to your stars balance and applicable Tier in your online account in the Dashboard section.
In the event that a member returns any of their purchased items (in respect of which they had accrued circle member account loyalty stars), their member account loyalty stars balance will be decreased accordingly to reflect the return(s) made.
6. PERSONAL DATA

As part of your membership in the Programme, Mugler will process personal data related to you, including for the following purposes:
i. Create and manage your membership
ii. Allocate stars when you declare a purchase or a product or participate in any of the Engagement Actions
iii. Send you communication related to the Programme

7. COMMUNICATIONS WITH YOU
Where you have opted to receive further communications via email or SMS, you may periodically receive emails or SMS messages from Mugler relating to the Programme, special Members only offers, newsletters and other benefits that may be of interest to you.
Communications around the Programme
Members receive communication around the Programme, including emails about the usage of the Programme (e.g., your balance stars, your status information, order of rewards, number of stars required to reach next tier…) and Members exclusive offers and promotions.
Subscription to newsletters
To keep up to date with all news from Mugler, you can opt in to marketing messages either when you enroll on the Programme or via your account at any time. If you opt in to the newsletters, you will receive emails from Mugler, including personalised promotions and ads.
You may opt out of communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe button at the bottom of our emails or contacting Mugler via our Consumer Care Form.
8. AMENDMENT OR TERMINATION OF THE PROGRAMME
Mugler reserves the right to modify, change, limit, cancel or terminate the Programme at any time, without advance notice to you. If the Programme is completely terminated and discontinued, Members will be notified and neither the Member nor any third party may seek any recourse or compensation whatsoever.
9. ABUSE OR MISUSE OF THE PROGRAMME
Mugler reserves the right to take any action it deems appropriate, in its sole discretion, to exclude a Member from the Programme, by closing or suspending the Member’s account, if it has reason to believe that the Member concerned is in breach of these Terms and Conditions or is abusing the Programme in any way. Exclusion will result in the Member’s account being removed or closed, with immediate loss of all benefits acquired through the Programme, and neither the Member, nor any third party may claim compensation or indemnification whatsoever. The rights associated with the purchase amounts registered are lost (namely the balance of registered purchases and benefits), and the Member or third/eligible party may not request the conversion of this amount into surprises or claim any compensation whatsoever
10. LIABILTIY
Mugler assumes no responsibility for any direct or indirect problems or delays related to any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized by the Member; any human error; any interruption, deletion, omission, defect or failure of any network or electronic transmission for whatever reason.
Mugler is not responsible if the code printed or inserted in a given product is torn off, cut, destroyed or in any way not present. If you buy a product which contains no code or the code is invalid, please contact Mugler via the following Consumer Care Form.
Account removal or closure results in the loss of membership, namely the balance of unique codes or refill receipts declared, and neither the Member nor any third party may claim any compensation whatsoever.
11. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
Mugler and each Member irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales in respect of any dispute or claim arising from the Programme, the rewards or other member benefits from or relating to the Programme and these Terms and Conditions or a member’s participation in the Programme.
The Programme and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
