        Rated 5 out of 5 by from THE MASTERPIECE THAT IS A*MEN FANTASM I loved A*Men Fantasm Eau de Parfum from the very first spray. The opening hits my eager nostrils and instantly connects memories to 1996's original A*Men DNA. Noses and skin types differ and to mine, the opening settles to a rich creamy cappuccino, gourmand delicious in it's execution. It's not about a room filing projection or epic sillage, for me this is an intimate, sensual, wondrous fragrance that pleases me on so many levels. Wafts throughout it's progression, during the duties of my day reassure me, remind me of what a masterpiece of fragrance blending truly should be. This is that. Luxuriously sending out aromas of vanilla, coffee and that creamy chocolate that is divine. The dry down is where the magic for me appears and that reminiscent A*Men Pure Tonka vibe that made that scent my all time favourite. Cake like sweetness, delicious and good enough to eat, a true gourmand aroma like walking into a bakery as the new batches are laid out on display, a pleasant assault on the nostrils. And yet Fantasm is said not to have Tonka in the notes? I sprayed heavy at 6am, twelve sprays (so sue me!). Wrists upper and lower, inner elbow, neck pulse points etc. I could get creamy wafts of this delicious fragrance all day long whilst shopping at the Ashford outlets in Kent and at 1600hrs, 10 hours later it was still gorgeous, with sumptuous wafts of chocolatey sweetness that my wife commented on favourably. At 12 hrs on my skin it still performs, albeit softly and closer to my skin, but enough to give me great pleasure. Sixteen hours later I am tucked up in bed watching a film and Fantasm still shines. It is reassuringly present when I move or ruffle the pillow and duvet, and over twenty hours later during the night though now very much a skin scent, the fragrance still comforts me from the pillow. For me, A*Men Fantasm is a 9.9, absolutely top notch, one of the finest in the long series and I am so happy that it was created.

It doesn't last long enough on the skin nor is it really strong enough to compete with luxury aftershaves. It's sad because it's such an incredible smell but it's hiding its light under a bush. It's such a different smell it deserves to shout not whisper

        Rated 4 out of 5 by from A-mention for Mugler I got a warming, spicy, chocolate-y hit from this upon first use and it then balances of to a blend of woody, citrus tones. It has a nice fragrance to it, although I did find that it became a bit to subtle to soon for me personally, and would have liked it to be a bit longer lasting, so it wouldn't be one to use for a day out unless you can use a refill bottle too. Having said that, for an evening out, or shorter trips, it would be a good choice of scent.
