Unexpected delightFrom the description, I was expecting something super sweet but on first spray, this is not at all what I got. Initially, the scent is fresh, it smells a little bergamot citrusy and not that sweet at all. But, then it starts to settle on the skin and you smell berries, more blackcurrant or blackberry, than red berries and there’s a slight leafy scent too. Think wild brambles, still on the bush. Then, as it settles and dries down a bit more, you get that sweet praline meringue type scent but it’s ever so soft. That, gentle sweetness, combined with the berries and slight leafy, almost gardenia, freshness, makes for a really amazing, very pleasant and wearable perfume, with multiple facets. Because there’s a little freshness, along with tarte fruity berry’s and the meringue sweetness, you could wear this fragrance anytime, day or night, any time of year. It’s a gentle, warm gourmand with a little freshness, done really well. I’m not sure it’s as intense as it was originally or lasts as long, but it projects really well and sticks to your clothes. It’s slightly reminiscent of Angel but in the softest, gentlest, innocently sweet way. It kind of reminds of a scented doll that I had as kid.
This perfume is much more easy going and easier to wear than a lot of Mugler perfumes, a softly sweet, dreamy cousin of Angel. It’s just all pleasure!

Best perfume EVER!!Please don’t discontinue Angel Innocent. It’s the loveliest perfume I’ve ever owned and it’s been a battle to keep purchasing it over the years. It’s now my teenage daughter’s favourite too! We love it and I’ve just had to order 2 more to keep us going!!
