DisappointedThe joy when I found an old aura bottle and discovered I could purchase the refill bottle. I had recently contacted customer services who advised the refill is only compatible with the bottle, which I have now discovered is rubbish. I could surely have used any bottle to pour the scent into. However I wish I hadn’t purchase the refill now as the scent lacks its distinctive intense aroma which made it unique and beautiful. I purchased a dupe for around £20 and I feel that the aura refill by mugler smells the same as the poorly made dupe which also lacks.

The palest shadow of the original Aura.One thing I remember about this perfume is that it was BIG. Big, resonantly beautiful, and totally unique. Perfect for winter with its remarkable combo of warming and cooling notes.
That glorious wintergreen note is a ghost of what it once was. The juicily tart and candy-sweet rhubarb-and-custard barely there. All I get is a thin wisp of apple (not listed in the notes) with a faint layer of vanilla at the bottom.
If what's left of the noble house of Mugler, desecrated by L'Oréal, is willing to dilute the formula, then they should halve the price.

Be ashamedI just bought a refill bottle of Aura thinking I was buying the surplus as I heard it was being discontinued. What I received was a generic lighter coloured glass bottle with what could only be described as a watered down version of Aura! What an absolute joke! Do you think so low of your customers that you think we wouldn’t notice?? I’m absolutely dumbfounded. What’s even more hilarious is that I as a loyal customer would have gladly accepted a price increase instead of a reformulation at the same sale price ! Talk about insult to injury. You basically killed this brand, but the joke is on you as your loyal fans will go elsewhere. The sintético formulation is awful and doesn’t last. I’ve worn Aura for years and was my signature scent! When I heard it was no longer available I was gutted. Little did I know L’Oréal had reformulated it to trick us . Jerks 😢

The refill is SO WEAK…READ OTHER REVIEWS BEFOREI don’t understand why it is… Mugler is a credible designer and it’s embarrassing that they’ve let standard fall before subpar. The refill smells the same but the formula is clearly watered down as it loses scent within 10 minutes. Happy to say I’ve found an alternative for me and others YSL LIBRE flower and flames x

Please bring back the original formula Mugler 🥰This reformulated version of Aura is OK.... but compared to the original Aura it is completely different. Something is missing. The parma-violet note is not there at all. I am lucky as I have x2 full 90ml bottles left and will be devastated when they are gone.
I ask you kindly Mugler to please bring back the original version of this beautiful perfume even if its to cost more. I would pay it.
I am not alone in this; you have many many thousands of customers who want the same thing.
Please think about it.... you brought back womanity and often you are out of stock online. Does that not tell you something!
Please bring back the original as there is nothing like it.
An absolute masterpiece was the original Aura.

The best perfume 😍Aura is definitely my favourite in the mugler collection closely followed by Alien, Aura is a wonderful, strong smelling perfume that's last ALL day. It's not overpowering, just simple delicious. I get so many compliments when ever I wear Aura definitely my favourite & my go to.
